This event company is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Entertainment Wardrobe Specialist to join our Entertainment team. This position reports to the Entertainment Director. Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare & organize the wardrobe area for efficiency & speed.
  • Assign, document, & recollect wardrobe items of an approved design to entertainers at the wardrobe check in & out at events.
  • Work closely with a variety of performers in the distribution & styling of costume elements, props, footwear & accessories during show run, rehearsals, preparation, and show changes.
  • Fit performers to costume sizing that is suited best for body shape & size.
  • Provide feedback on all personal appearances and recommend grooming changes if required.
  • Ensure the quality & final product of each look before deployment on the event grounds by utilizing the 8-point checklist in the wardrobe outline.

Wardrobe Technician Grade 2 – London, UK

We are looking for an experienced Wardrobe Technician (Grade 2) to work as part of the Running Wardrobe Team, in all aspects of Running Wardrobe including costume maintenance, laundry and performance calls.

Wigs

  • Block wigs on heads
  • Wash, brush, steam, and reset wigs in rollers
  • Style and tease wigs
  • Clean lace on wigs
  • Apply and remove wigs on performers
  • Styling performer hair
  • Manage and oversee consumables (pins, hairspray, caps, lashes)

Wardrobe

  • Dress performers and lead quick-changes
  • Perform repairs (sewing, gluing, etc) and upkeep on costumes
  • Iron, steam, launder and maintain costumes
  • Preset wigs and costumes, including transferring racks from green room to deck

Costume Dyer / Painter – Boston, Massachusetts, USA

The Dyer/Painter is a Full-Time Seasonal, non-exempt position that works a set number of weeks each season depending upon the annual needs of the Costume Shop. For the 2025-2026 season, the Dyer/Painter will work through May 30, 2026 with two unpaid weeks off December 21, 2025 through January 4, 2026. Subsequent seasons’ work weeks will vary, with approximately 40 work weeks per season. This position is responsible for all dye-related costume needs for Boston Ballet productions. The Dyer/Painter will dye or paint various textiles, garments, and accessories in quantities ranging from small amounts to several yards. Work consists of exact color matching to existing previously dyed garments, as well as fabricating new colors to execute provided designs and color requirements.
