Head Electrician | New York, New York

A Head Electrician is sought for a Broadway theatre to oversee electrical and electrics operations for productions and events. Responsibilities include advancing and maintaining the electrics department, supervising crews, installing and operating lighting systems, troubleshooting electrical equipment, managing power distribution, and coordinating with production and facilities teams.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of professional production electrician experience, including Head Electrician or Assistant Head experience at a comparable venue. Strong knowledge of theatrical lighting, power distribution, moving lights, rigging, and OSHA safety standards is required.

Requirements: OSHA 30 certification; IATSE Local 1 membership or eligibility; crew management experience; ability to lift 25–50+ lbs
