Spoffin Street Art Festival PRO Registration Now Open: Highlighting Baltic Art in Amersfoort
The 15th edition of the Spoffin Street Art Festival is set to enliven the historic streets of Amersfoort with an expansive array of performances from August 23-25, 2024. With more than 110 performances scheduled, artists from over 10 countries will showcase their talents, making this festival a pivotal event for outdoor art professionals worldwide.
This year, the festival shines a spotlight on the vibrant outdoor art of the Baltic countries—Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. In collaboration with Rigas Circus from Latvia, Spoffin is proud to present new and existing works from notable groups such as Accompany ME, Art for Rainy Days, and Kanta Company, alongside performances by Big Wolf Company and the duo of Jurate Sirvyte Rukstele & Adrian Schvarzstein.
Supporting Artistic Creation through Residencies
Spoffin continues its tradition of nurturing artistic talent by offering residencies that support the creative processes of outdoor artists. This year’s residencies will host an impressive lineup, including DansBlok from the Netherlands and Wonderground Company from Spain and Israel, both past winners of the VKZ Spoffin OFF Award. These residencies are vital in providing artists the space to develop premieres or work-in-progress shows that will be featured during the festival.
