Head Sound (A1) Back to the Future – New York, USA

The Back to the Future Tour is seeking a full time Head Sound (A1) to begin work immediately. The A1 is the leader Audio department of the touring production. The A1 works with the Head Carpenter on advancing the venues and truck loading/unloading in load ins and outs. As part of the load in and load out, the A1 designates tasks and works with the A2 and oversees the local crew. The A1 tunes the room in every venue to make the sound system agree with the venue’s acoustics and runs the sound check prior to first performance with cast and orchestra.

Audio Visual Integration Project Manager – Waukesha, USA

The Integration Project Manager is a vital role to the Majic team as they are responsible for final commissioning of installed systems.

The full-time Sound & Projection Engineer (SPE).will work in the Center for Performing and Cinematic Arts (CPCA) serving the Temple University Theater Department and the Boyer College of Music/Opera productions by providing audio and projections support, and lighting area assistance as needed, for all main stage and student organization production seasons. In addition, the position will work directly with CPCA undergraduates, graduate students, guest artists, and Faculty/staff serving as the Sound and Projections Engineer; including classroom A/V support, set up, breakdown and troubleshooting needs in performing and teaching spaces. IATSE Head Audio – New York, USA

The Public Theater seeks an experienced and collaborative IATSE Head Audio to join our production team. The Head Audio serves as the primary Production Audio for all Public Theater performances across our multi-theater complex. This position is responsible for overseeing and executing all audio elements of productions and events, ensuring the highest standards of sound quality and technical execution. The Head Audio will supervise all audio operations during load-ins, load-outs, changeovers, and technical/preview rehearsals, and will occasionally run shows as required.

The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the Sound & Lighting Department at Stratford East.
