JW3 continues its 13th anniversary celebrations with a new season of music, comedy, talks and family events. As the UK’s only Jewish community centre of its kind, the autumn/winter programme offers something for every generation, bringing together internationally acclaimed musicians, bestselling authors, comedians and family entertainment, offering opportunities for communities across London to connect through Jewish culture. The season culminates with the return of the much-loved annual pantomime, Dick Whittingberg Gets Into a Pickle (6th December – 3rd January).
The music programme welcomes acclaimed performers from across the world, kicking off with vocalist and pianist Jeremy Sassoon who returns to JW3 (24th September), celebrating the release of his latest album Older and Wiser with original music and old favourites from his acclaimed Legends of Voice and Piano. Praised for his interpretations of Beethoven, Bach and Rachmaninov, internationally renowned pianist Boris Giltburg (30th September) performs a programme of piano masterworks, before Oi Va Voi frontwoman ZOHARA (21st October) brings her genre-blurring sound to JW3, blending electronica with Middle Eastern influences in an immersive live performance.
The classical series continues with an exceptional chamber concert featuring celebrated violinist Aylen Pritchin (28th October), pianist Connie Shih and an international ensemble performing Schubert’s beloved Trout Quintet alongside works by Beethoven and Saint-Saëns.
Comedy remains a cornerstone of JW3’s cultural programme, with the popular JW3 Comedy Club returning throughout the autumn (2nd September, 8th October and 11th November).
Hosted by Rachel Creeger, each evening showcases some of the funniest Jewish and Jew-ish comedians for nights of stand-up, improv and witty observational comedy.
The talks programme spans art, history, politics and contemporary culture. Catherine Ostler discusses her acclaimed new book The Renoir Girls (9th September), exploring the remarkable true story behind Renoir’s famous painting Pink and Blue. Audiences can also uncover London’s hidden Jewish past on Jewish West End and its Remarkable Hidden History! (23rd September), before journalist and author Zoe Strimpel marks International Day of the Girl with a discussion of Good Slut (8th October). The season also includes the exclusive UK launch of The Jewish Muezzin (11th October) with Israeli musician Kobi Farhi, a timely geopolitical discussion with Jonathan Paris (14th October), Great Jewish Women on Screen (12th November), and Refugee Lives: Stories of Exile, Resilience, and Community (12th November).
Young JW3 returns with a vibrant programme for people in their 20s and 30s, with highlights including Exploring our Jewish Identities in a Topsy Turvy World (11th October), the launch of the new Modern Ashkenazi Cooking series (15th November), a Young JW3 Friday Night Dinner (20th November) and the festive Young JW3 Pickle Party (20th December), combining a visit to the pantomime with a hands-on pickling workshop.
The season concludes with the return of JW3’s much-loved annual pantomime. Back for its fourth year after three successful festive runs, Dick Whittingberg Gets Into a Pickle gives the classic tale a distinctly JW3 twist with villainous rats, plenty of laughs and singalongs for audiences of all ages. The pantomime forms part of JW3’s wider autumn/winter season, which brings together music, comedy, talks and family events to create opportunities for people of all generations to connect and celebrate Jewish culture.

Our 4th annual Panto Dick Whittingberg Gets Into A Pickle brings back some of the most talented new Jewish theatre-makers and our music programme brings together some world greats in classical and Jewish music. And all of this in a welcoming and buzzing community centre where all are welcome. At 13 it feels like we are only getting started!
