Circus History Live! Featuring Sylvia Zerbini
Inducted into the Circus Ring of Fame in 2008, Zerbini hails from a nine-generation circus family and has been performing since the age of 13. Her Italian father and French mother immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1960s. While her father trained horses and wild animals, her mother was an aerialist – a scene seemingly set for Zerbini’s future in performance. Zerbini was one of the first people to mix aerial and equestrian work in performance. This edition was hosted by CHS vice president, Chris Berry, and also features CHS trustee Wayne McCary. Circus History Live! is a free Zoom event open to all CHS members and non-members. Learn more about the Circus Historical Society and join today at circushistory.org.
