Young Performers Take Center Stage at APAP|NYC 2025

The Young Performers Career Advancement (YPCA) Program is set to shine once again at APAP|NYC 2025, offering a crucial platform for emerging classical musicians from around the world. As part of this prestigious annual gathering, which is recognized as one of the most influential events for performing arts professionals, YPCA serves as a launchpad for artists seeking to advance their careers in the competitive world of classical music.

This year’s YPCA Showcase will take place on January 13, 2025, at 7 PM ET at Merkin Hall, where a talented group of young musicians will perform in front of an audience packed with performing arts presenters, managers, agents, and industry leaders from across North America and beyond. These influential figures, attending APAP|NYC 2025 to plan and secure performances for the coming years, will witness firsthand the talent and artistry of the next generation of classical performers.

For nearly three decades, the YPCA Program, organized by the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP), has provided early-career artists with invaluable professional development opportunities. YPCA was launched in 1996 as part of APAP’s Classical Connections Initiative, which was designed to support emerging artists in the formative stages of their careers.
