Teatro Zinzanni is hiring a Swing Backstage Manager! This job is a unique combination of ASM + stagehand roles all rolled into one, in a circus environment. Part-time position, average 20 hours a week. $23 an hour. Due to the nature of this position, applicants must be able to lift 50lbs + be okay working at heights.

Stage Manager for Staged Reading – Chicago, Illinois, USA

Seeking an experienced stage manager for a staged reading of Daybreak, a new play with music.

Rehearsals will take place from Jan 12-Feb 4 with afternoon performances on Sat Feb 7 and Sun Feb 8.

Co-written by Erin Lekovic and Jacob Watson (with songs by Laura Stratford), Daybreak is an exploration of the science and emotion of awe. The story follows two pairs (a married couple and siblings) as they search for hope in the midst of a global crisis called The Dimming. Along the way, they visit outer space and encounter a time-hopping Sailor, whose sea shanties offer an oddly-prescient perspective on what it means to sustain faith and embrace connection amidst darkness and uncertainty.

Stage Manager – Brooklyn, New York, USA

Script Club NYC is a new New York Based theatre company. Producing four shows a year. We are hiring Stage Manager for a volunteer position for our winter Radio Play, The 39 Steps. Rehearsals have started, so we are looking to hire a stage manager asap.

Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons til performances in December. Rehearsals will be in midtown Manhattan.

Job requires the ability to send out rehearsal and performance reports, take blocking and line notes, and to work sound cues via QLab.
