Description:The Yale Baroque Opera Project is producing L'Egisto for our Spring Production, and we are looking to hire a Stage Manager for this project. Candidates should be able to commute to New Haven, CT.Hire dates from 01/21/26-04/26/26 (though work will be done remotely for SM until 03/24/26) Please email me at [email protected] with your resume and any questions! Position Focus: Stage Manager for Yale Baroque Opera Project. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing all production rehearsals and performances, attend regularly scheduled production meetings, oversee/manage cast members ensuring safety and well-being throughout, coordinate with designers, directors, production team members, ensure best practices are followed, be familiar with and employ all relevant safety practices consistent with Yale, Undergraduate Production, and industry standards, attend all rehearsals, technical rehearsals and performances. Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of theater health and safety best practices and concerns and ability to identify and correct potential hazards. Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize complex schedules. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and flexibly with a large number of faculty, staff, students, community members, guest artists, and other professionals representing a wide diversity of personalities and cultures. Strong communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Supervisor: Aubrey Ellis Rehearsals are generally Tuesday-Friday evenings, and Saturday mornings/afternoons, until tech.
