Nominations Open for Inaugural PROPULSION AWARD Celebrating Innovation in Circus Arts
En Piste, the National Circus Arts Alliance, in collaboration with the Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM), is thrilled to announce the launch of the PROPULSION AWARD, a prestigious recognition honoring innovation in circus arts.
The PROPULSION AWARD aims to spotlight the remarkable contributions of Montreal’s circus artists who push the boundaries of the discipline through their inventive and impactful work, thereby enriching the city’s vibrant artistic landscape.
En Piste and the Conseil des arts de Montréal are seeking nominations that showcase a diverse range of innovative practices within the circus arts realm. From pioneering stage designs to eco-responsible initiatives, from avant-garde working methods to groundbreaking technological advancements, all forms of innovation are encouraged.
This distinguished award, accompanied by a grant of $10,000, marks its debut this year, symbolizing a commitment to recognizing and supporting the evolution of circus arts in Montreal.
The nomination period is now open and will run until April 3, 2024. Eligible artistic works must have been presented between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023. For further information and nomination guidelines, please visit enpiste.qc.ca/en/prixpropulsion.
