Launching CircusTalk PRO Special Series

While theaters and circuses are still mostly shuttered and the performing arts is still on hold, it is our mission to provide tools and resources to our community.

We are launching a CircusTalk PRO Special Series that will cover topics from useful job-related information and advice, to thought-provoking conversations about the reimagining and rebuilding of the circus industry.

It is our pleasure to announce our first PRO Special video series called Think Like an Acrobat, brought to you by Shenea Stiletto, who is a two-time World Acrobatic Champion, USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame Member, a World-Class Handbalancer and a seasoned PRO in the circus industry. Shenea will share exclusive secrets about the business of being a circus artist with our PRO member.

The series will cover an array of useful topics from how to navigate a contract, to understanding the role of a good agent, and how to maintain long-distance relationships while living the globetrotter life. In the first timely episode titled Let’s Innovate For Yourself–Mastering the Side Hustle which launches on Tuesday, November 3rd, Shenea will speak to Claudius Specht about his side-hustle as a world-class prop maker and glean some solid advice on how a circus artist can survive in lean times through carefully cultivating their side jobs.

PRO members can tune in to CircusTalk News to check out the premiere episode. If you are not yet a PRO member, sign up today to take advantage of the COVID-19 yearly discount for as low as $4.99 a month, and you will avail yourself of the many perks of PRO members, including access to our JOBS database, and of course, all episodes of Think Like an Acrobat. To hear more about the show, tune in to the recent Circus Voices podcast, where we interviewed Shenea Booth about her vision for the series.
