Arts Wellbeing Collective
The Arts Wellbeing Collective was an Arts Centre Melbourne initiative that comprises a consortium of arts and cultural organisations whose shared vision was to effect better mental health and wellbeing for performing arts workers. Their objectives were to: – Improve support services for performing arts workers – Collate and share information – Effect industry cultural change – Improve support networks within and between arts organisations. In 2024, the Arts Wellbeing Collective was shut down after negotiations with Arts Centre Melbourne broke down. (Source: ArtsHub Australia). The Arts Wellbeing Collective ran from 2017 to 2024.
