Aloft Circus Arts Opens Applications for 2026–2027 Professional Training Program

The next Year 1 cycle of Aloft’s Professional Training Program (2026–2027) is officially open for applications!

If you’ve been waiting for your shot to dedicate yourself to full time training, without breaking the bank, this is it. Our program is one of the most affordable, accessible, and creatively engaging circus training experiences in the country. At Aloft, we meet every artist where they are; helping you discover, refine, and amplify your unique artistic voice while giving you the technical foundation and industry insight to turn your vision into a career.

Year 1 is built to shape well-rounded, competitive artists. You’ll explore a wide range of circus disciplines, refine your technique, gain marketable performance and gig skills, and sharpen your major discipline with our dedicated instructors. You’ll also learn to produce bi-monthly shows in our Production class (and get paid doing it)! You’ll leave Aloft with even more marketable skills in production, direction and technical stage skills all the while making your tuition even more affordable. Year 1 culminates in the performance of your own solo act and ensemble pieces with your cohort in our acclaimed professional cabaret, “Sanctuary.” Expect challenge. Expect creativity. Expect to leave inspired, empowered, and ready for our Lab Year/Year 2 and the working circus world beyond. Applications are due March 1. Live auditions: March 19 & 20th. Can’t make it in person? Virtual auditions are accepted.

If spots are open beyond our audition date – rolling applications are open. Scholarships available.
