Unveiling New Features: Elevating Your Job Search Experience on CircusTalk

At the core of the PRO membership is our Job Board, which showcases two types of listings: those posted directly by our users (e.g., companies, producers, casting directors) and posts collected by our automated circus and performing arts job aggregator. This virtual service scours the internet and social media for publicly posted circus-related jobs, saving our members valuable time by consolidating opportunities from multiple sources.

We continually seek ways to assist artists and professionals in the performing arts field by connecting them to new opportunities and simplifying the search process. Over the past few years, we’ve received feedback about enhancing the job listings, and we’re excited to announce several updates that will streamline and improve your job search process in an increasingly multidisciplinary industry.

New features available on the Job Board

Enhanced search options: You can now filter job searches not only by location and job category, but also by specific artistic disciplines (such as circus arts, dance, music, etc.)

Streamlined posting: We’ve combined the JOB and AUDITION fields into a single form, simplifying the process for everyone. Those posting an audition can specify it in the job title.

Promoting fairness: Optional fields have been added to the job form, including CONTRACT DATE and PAY SCALE, to ensure a more equitable environment and encourage our industry to provide clear, informative casting calls.

Added job details: Further optional fields such as REQUIREMENTS, PREPARE TO PRESENT, and ADDITIONAL INFORMATION are available. These fields offer potential employees comprehensive insights about specific job roles, whether they’re short-term gigs or long-term contracts.

Stay tuned for more updates in 2024.
