Fake Escape are seeking a Stage Manager for the upcoming world premiere of Artistic Director David Shopland’s new full length play Cul-de-Sac, running at an Off West End Theatre (to be announced) in South London from 27th May – 14th June 2025. Rehearsals will be at Jerwood Space in Central London from 5th – 23rd May, with Get In/Tech across the 25th & 26th May & a Get Out half-day on the 15th June.
Calling Stage Manager (Summer Seasonal) – Glimmerglass Festival, Cooperstown, New York

The Calling Stage Manager is a seasonal employee who, under the guidance of the Production Stage Manager is responsible for running all rehearsals and calling one of the four summer opera productions. They are also important in facilitating communication amongst many artistic and production departments. The Calling Stage Manager assists in supervising Assistant Stage Managers (ASM) and Stage Management Apprentices, delegating various show responsibilities to them. They may also be assigned a secondary calling assignment or ASM assignment.
Stage Manager – Ragtime – Bay View Musical Festival, Petoskey, Michigan, USA

Serve as stage manager for production of Ragtime and assistant stage manager for Carmen for 6 week young artist training opportunity. Housing and food provided for the duration, as is a travel reimbursement. Set in the beautiful resort area of Petoskey Michigan in a small, supportive community in a historic theatre. General Stage Manager – Cirque du Soleil, Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico

Reporting to the Artistic Director, the General Stage Manager is responsible to maintain the daily performance, rehearsal, and training operations of the show. While playing a supervisory role with his/her team of stage managers, the General Stage Manager works hand in hand with the Artistic Director (AD), being the intrinsic link with him/her for orchestrating each daily performance and related activities.
Production Stage Manager–UMBC, Maryland, Baltimore, USA

UMBC Department of Theatre seeks a full-time Production Stage Manager. The incumbent will provide substantial support to the Production Manager in the administration of the production process for the Department of Theatre’s four-show academic season. Specific duties include: supervise, mentor and support student stage managers and backstage crew for department productions; attend, oversee and provide onsite supervision of technical, dress rehearsals and performances; maintain UMBC’s safety and equity standards; maintain department and production calendars; attend production and design meetings, record and distribute notes; may also teach courses in area of specialization; maintain rehearsal spaces; write guest artist contracts; and perform other duties as assigned.
