Synopsis:
Empty is a 30-minute solo play that follows Eliza, a trans woman filming a YouTube house tour in an ’empty’ apartment. As she guides her imagined online audience through each room, she uses comedy, sharp wit, and vulnerability to reveal the struggles of survival, resilience, and belonging. The ’empty’ space becomes a metaphor for both rejection and possibility, reflecting Eliza’s pursuit of identity and dreams in a world that often overlooks her. Blending humor with raw honesty, Empty offers an intimate theatrical experience that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
