Soirée des Arts: In the Heart of Miami – A Circus Celebration
Les Ailes du Désir Foundation (LADD), Miami’s only nonprofit dedicated to the Circus Arts, proudly announces the newest edition of its acclaimed Soirée des Arts, with a dazzling original production titled IN THE HEART OF MIAMI. This electrifying experience will take place on Sunday, September 21, at the Manuel Airtime Theater (900 SW 1st Street, Miami) with the support of Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
Featuring Milena Straczynski as Creative Director and Producer, and Jahzel Dotel as Lead Composer and Music Director, the evening will be mischievously guided by our diva, Teresa Cesario, alongside a cast of world-renowned performers, IN THE HEART OF MIAMI is a poetic celebration of the city’s cultural mosaic—where Afro-Caribbean rhythms, Latin American spirit, Indigenous roots, and immigrant journeys intertwine. Blending aerial acrobatics, contemporary dance, original music, and multidisciplinary performance, the show brings to life the soul of neighborhoods—honoring the voices, traditions, and creative fire that define Miami. It is a tribute to the city’s roots, a reflection of its people, and an ode to its ever-evolving identity.
All profits will go to LADD (Les Ailes du Desir) Foundation, a 501c3 charity that supports mission is to provide members of Miami’s diverse communities with the personal & artistic benefits that result from the education and training in Performing Arts supporting youth, emerging artists & Circus professionals.
