Spring 2026 UK Theatre Tours: House Southeast Backs Three Hit Shows

Spring 2026 will see major UK tours of three critically acclaimed shows, supported by house southeast theatre network. house, a Farnham Maltings initiative supported by Arts Council England, presents a season of daring storytelling, electrifying tricks and family friendly performances across 34 theatres in the Southeast England. Offering significant support, house enables independent artists to stage their work at small and mid-scale venues, giving local audiences access to bold, diverse and high-quality theatre.

By supporting theatres and art centres to programme some of the best UK theatre, house works to build audiences and strengthen appetite across the region for this vitally important and intimate artform.

house’s spring 2026 season opens with award-winning artist Katie Greenall’s Edinburgh Fringe hitBLUBBER.Audiences are taken on Katie’s journey of self-discovery as her hobby of synchronised swimming sparks a new relationship with her body. Heartfelt and emotional, this joyous production is bursting with beautiful storytelling and water splashing moments.

For families and younger audiences,Counting Sheepspresents a mesmerising and touching adventure for babies and toddlers. Following two sheep on a musical, sensory journey filled with joys and frustrations,Counting Sheepsis both soothing and playfully engaging for the little ones and adults.

Completing this powerful season is Wed Peden and Gandini Juggling’sRollercoaster, an ultra-modern pop-punk juggling spectacular. Performed among giant inflatable structures powered by the rhythms of electro beats composed of distorted rollercoaster sounds, Peden showcases his cutting-edge tricks, in an electrifying, high-impact performance

Senior Producer for house, Harriet Bolwell, comments, This spring, the house touring season really does have something for everyone. Award-winning artist Katie Greenall is taking their beautiful theatre piece BLUBBER on the road, with a performance that is both powerful and vulnerable. For our smaller audiences, nationally acclaimed Hull based theatre company The Herd bring their delightful sleepy sheepy immersive theatre show Counting Sheeps to 20 venues across the South East. Finally, Rollercoaster from Gandini Juggling and Wes Peden brings out the wow factor, using pop-punk juggling, inspired by its maker’s fascination with rollercoasters. 

Through the house southeast theatre network’s funding and support, the quality, range and scale of theatre presented across South East England is significantly enhanced. house’s support is inclusive of audience development, organises network days, professional development and training for venue staff. As well as co-ordinating network-wise initiatives on access, internships and sustainability, to foster and enhance the theatre network across the South East.
