Hideaway Circus is thrilled to announce the arrival of Canvas Sky, an all-new outdoor show. Following the unprecedented success of three “Stars Above” tours, this groundbreaking spectacle will have a 35-week journey across 22 states. The production is now on tour throughout the Northeast.

Canvas Sky features a heartfelt tale centered on themes of self-acceptance and the power of uplifting one another, portrayed through the journey of a circus troupe. Audiences will follow the story of a clown, struggling to find his place, who discovers his voice with a little help from an unexpected friend. This narrative is brought to life by a cast of ten world-class performers, blending the enchantment of classical circus arts with a contemporary storyline, all set to the backdrop of original music. This all-ages production is performed outdoors, under the vast canopy of sky and stars, on a custom-built circular stage and aerial rig, offering a unique open-air experience.

Creators and producers, Josh and Lyndsay Aviner seamlessly merge storytelling with physical artistry to create an imaginative performance you’ll want to experience with your friends and family every year. Josh says, “after touring Stars Above for three seasons, we’re thrilled to present a new production with a fresh cast, compelling story,

and original music for our devoted fans who have been year after year for what is now becoming a family circus tradition.” Its captivating story resonates with audiences in the current landscape. As Lyndsey describes, “the theme of this year’s show feels very fitting for what I think a lot of people are searching for right now, a way to make the world and their communities full of love and acceptance.”

The show offers three tiers of seating to cater to every preference: General Admission, where spectators can bring their own portable chair or blanket; Premium Seating, providing a comfortable outdoor spectator lawn chair; and the VIP Experience, which offers center-front seating with the most comfortable chairs. Ticket prices range from $25 to $65.

From the U.S., Eric Allen, our story’s lead character, is a comedic genius from New England, seamlessly intertwines clowning with breathtaking acrobatics, drawing inspiration from legends like Buster Keaton. Joining him is Spencer Androli, the juggler extraordinaire hailing from Tyler, Texas, who clinched the coveted #1 spot in the juggling world in 2023. Then, there’s Eve Diamond, whose aerial artistry, refined over a distinguished 25-year career, promises to transport audiences to ethereal heights with her cloud swing performances. Tohm Pace on the Rola Bola, brings jaw-dropping feats honed through fan-favorite engagements in renaissance fairs across the nation and with Circus Stella and Fl!p Circus. Maya Zuckerman, whose vibrant hula hoop routines, infused with dance and character, exude pure joy and connection with the crowd.

Joining us from all corners of the globe are our phenomenal international artists. The dynamic duo of Victoria Perez and Juan Palacios, trained in Argentina and Brazil’s top circus schools, will leave you breathless with their synchronized aerial cradle performances, spanning from Cirque du Soleil to the dazzling stages of Las Vegas. Be amazed by Jarno Polhuijs from the Netherlands, the master of the teeterboard, whose acrobatic prowess and comedic flair promise an exhilarating rollercoaster of thrills and laughter. Last but certainly not least, the SquAIRe-Crew from Germany, graduates of the esteemed State School Of Circus Arts Berlin, will astonish with their dynamic
