Cirque Mechanics Launches “Zephyr-A Whirlwind of Circus” US Tour
Cirque Mechanics partners once again with UNLV’s Performing Arts Center to launch their latest theatrical circus production, Zephyr-A Whirlwind of Circus, beginning at 7:30 PM on September 24 at Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall.
The show is an exhilarating and emotive tale about our planet and its resources, featuring an innovative performance windmill as the multi-functional mechanical centerpiece of the story. Come witness the unrelenting tug-of-war between man and nature in the name of progress as the artists harness human power, instead of wind, to generate an awe-inspiring, energetic acrobatic experience.
In Zephyr—A Whirlwind of Circus, performers will fly, balance, float on air, and defy gravity in a thrilling circus, transporting you on an all-ages journey where traditional circus acts, from contortion to hoop diving, hair hang to foot juggling, will awe and astound with modern and distinctive whimsy and theatricality.
Tickets are priced from $20-$50 and can be purchased online at pac.unlv.edu or in person at the UNLV PAC box office from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
Cirque Mechanics kicks off their 2022-23 touring season and brings Zephyr to other amazing theaters across the US. Check here for the US tour schedule.
