“Circus Cartography” with Julia Sanchez- Circuspreneur Podcast Ep.72
On this episode of the Circuspreneur podcast, host Shenea Stiletto interviews co-founder of cartografiacirco.com and coordinator for the international market of contemporary circus at the MICC Julia Sanchez. Circus cartography is an international cultural cooperation project dedicated to the dissemination and promotion of the circus for artists, companies, fairs and festivals, social circus, exhibition and creation spaces, associations, service and supplier companies and international collaboration projects that have The circus as the main focus of action, a clear desire to interact internationally and proven professionalism. This project emerged in 2020 at the initiative of Leandro Mendoza and Júlia Sánchez promoted by the International Contemporary Circus Market (MICC, Tohu, Montréal) to respond to the need to disseminate the circus internationally focused on the Latin American territory. Seeing the good response from the sector and the need to expand the territory of cartography among the three agents, it was decided that the cartography would cover the Ibero-American territory and that Cíclicus would become the leader of the project.
