CASTING ALERT: Artist Residency in Paradise with Momentum Collective
Momentom is a collective of circus artists, yoga teachers and creative entrepreneurs in Canada. The collective’s mission is to re-define what’s possible through art. Their crew of performers, teachers and public speakers, are self-proclaimed vibe architects who explore the extraordinaire in everything that they do, whether in classes or on stage.
In 2021 Momentum reopens its residency program, CIRCUS ISLAND residency in a brand new location. They are moving into a Chocolate Factory and functioning Cacao Farm on the volcanic island of Ometepe, Nicaragua.
The Collective invite interested artists to join this residency experience. They invite artists to find that spark of inspiration in every moment, to take the chance to be part of something bigger that truly embodies the human experience.

The residency includes: meditation, yoga, aerials, acroyoga, embodied movement, choreography, ecstatic dance, contact improv, clown, theatre arts, mermaiding, ceremony, plant medicine, permaculture and more.
“We invite you to join us for all the activities on offer, while at the same time learning what it means to eat directly from the fruit forest that surrounds you, and live in an eco village of cabins. You can visit our neighbors who are building on virgin land using bio construction and growing food with permaculture techniques,” says the Collective.

Momentom Collective is an international community of artists, yogis and thought-leaders with a common vision to explore the potential of the human spirit. From virtual events to curated live-in residencies, they bring together creatives from all fields to engage in community living and training programs that awaken mind, body and spirit. Their main vector is art, and they equip it in all of its forms as a catalyst for global change and collective awakening.

Momentom es un colectivo de artistas de circo, profesores de yoga y emprendedores creativos en Canadá. La misión del colectivo es redefinir lo que es posible a través del arte. Su equipo de artistas, maestros y oradores públicos son arquitectos de vibraciones autoproclamados que exploran lo extraordinario en todo lo que hacen, ya sea en las clases o en el escenario.
En 2021 Momentum reabre su programa de residencia, la residencia CIRCUS ISLAND en una nueva ubicación. Se están mudando a una fábrica de chocolate y en funcionamiento una granja de cacao en la isla volcánica de Ometepe, Nicaragua.
El Colectivo invita a artistas interesados a unirse a esta experiencia de residencia. Invitan a los artistas a encontrar esa chispa de inspiración en cada momento, a tener la oportunidad de ser parte de algo más grande que realmente encarna la experiencia humana.
La residencia incluye: meditación, yoga, antenas, acroyoga, movimiento encarnado, coreografía, danza extática, improvisación de contacto, payaso, artes teatrales, sirenas, ceremonia, medicina vegetal, permacultura y más.
“Te invitamos a que nos acompañes en todas las actividades que ofrecemos, al mismo tiempo que aprendes lo que significa comer directamente del bosque de frutas que te rodea y vivir en una eco aldea de cabañas. Puedes visitar a nuestros vecinos que están construyendo en tierra virgen usando bioconstrucción y cultivando alimentos con técnicas de permacultura ”, dice el Colectivo. Queda una semana más para aplicar a esta residencia.
Momentom Collective es una comunidad internacional de artistas, yoguis y líderes de pensamiento con una visión común para explorar el potencial del espíritu humano. Desde eventos virtuales hasta residencias curadas en vivo, reúnen a creativos de todos los campos para participar en programas de capacitación y vida comunitaria que despiertan la mente, el cuerpo y el espíritu. Su principal vector es el arte, y lo equipan en todas sus formas como catalizador del cambio global y el despertar colectivo.
