Jean-Baptiste Frésing
MA Student in Performing Arts -BELGIUM
Jean-Baptiste Frésing is a Belgian performing arts practitioner currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Performing Arts at ULB in Brussels. He trained as an actor in several Belgian theatre schools and is also a certified teacher.

Alongside his academic and artistic work, he maintains a strong interest in both popular culture and theory, ranging from Dragon Ball, Wes Anderson films, and Pokémon to the writings of Roland Barthes. In his free time, he writes poetry and short theatrical scenes, often moving between playful experimentation and more reflective, literary inquiry.

He is drawn to writing and performance as spaces where seriousness and playfulness can coexist, and where contradiction can be a source of creative energy.
