Audrey Hoo – Director of Production: “Listening is the first step to meaningful change” (StageLync Podcast Ep.29)

A lifelong arts maker, Audrey Hoo is the Director of Production of Tony-award winning Berkeley Repertory Theatre in Berkeley California. Originally from Singapore, Audrey ventured to the United States to seek new experiences.

Most recently, she has worked at the American Conservatory Theater, La Jolla Playhouse and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. She has had the pleasure of working with artists across all performing arts genres such as Tony Taccone, Chay Yew, Christopher Ashley, William Kentridge, Alex Timbers, Catherine Martin, Sam Mendes, Paul Simon, Laurie Anderson, John Turturro & Elaine Stritch. Outside of work, Audrey strives to be her best self. Always pushing to learn new skills, her main loves include martial arts, hiking, west coast swing and country two-step dances.  Audrey holds a M.F.A in Technical Direction from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

Anna holds a (BA) Honours degree in Design for Theatre and Television.
Ana Aguliera
Technical Director, Podcast Co-Host -MEXICO
Ana is a Technical Director and Scuba Instructor with a passion for water, technology, and the arts.

She has experience in water, acrobatic, ice shows as well as musicals, opera, theatre and dance. She likes both creation, and operations.
Ana co-hosts the Stagelync podcast.

When she is not working on a production, doing research or curating for the podcast, or recording interviews, you can find her diving, hanging out in nature or catching up with the news in the industry and the arts world. She is also an avid cyclist, swimmer, reader and learner.
