Artcena Announces New Traveling Show Guide/Resource

Artcena, the French National Centre for the Circus & Street Arts has released a new guide for download to help event planners, show organizers and companies themselves understand the ins and outs of how to host a traveling show in one’s own territory. The guide is full of practical advice, methodological tools and the legal references necessary to facilitate the hosting of traveling show structures, from the installation project to the running of the show and the implementation of mediation actions. This 57-page guide is downloadable in French for free here as PDF (459.44 KB.)

This guide comes at an important time in the history of circus and street arts, when the pandemic may mean scaling back tours from the international level due to travel restrictions, in favor of offering local and regional tours in order to keep artists working and audiences engaged.
