Aerial Arts - 5-17yo - Term 2 [April-June 2019]

Recreational Programs

HAPY Studio offers weekly Aerial Arts classes for children. 5yo 6-9yo 10-12yo 13-17yo Students progress through curriculum based classes from Beginners Intermediate Advanced. Class sizes are kept small to maintain personalised coaching and safety. Learn multiple apparatus (Aerial Silks, Trapeze and Aerial Hoop). Each term children will participate in an in-class performance of the skills they have learnt throughout the term.

Aerial Silks - Adults

Recreational Programs

HAPY Studio offers Aerial Silks classes for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced adults. Learn in a fun and friendly environment, where everyone is encouraged to progress at your own pace. Classes are kept small for personalised coaching and safety. In-house performance nights are held for students to demonstrate their routines. Casual and Membership options are available.

Aerial Hoop/Lyra - Adults

Trapeze - Adults

HAPY Studio offers Trapeze classes for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced adults. Learn on a mix of Static and Dance Trapeze in a fun and friendly environment, where everyone is encouraged to progress at your own pace. Classes are kept small for personalised coaching and safety. In-house performance nights are held for students to demonstrate their routines. Casual and Membership options are available.

Aerial Choreography

Recreational Programs

HAPY Studio offers Aerial Choreography classes for you to enhance your Aerial Performances. Each class will focus on an aspect of movement or dance theory, followed by practical application on the ground or in the air. Learn emotive expression through performance. How to flow through transitions. The process of creating your performance....and so much more Learn in a fun and friendly environment, where everyone is encouraged to progress at your own pace. Classes are kept small for personalised coaching and safety. In-house performance nights are held for students to demonstrate their routines. Casual and Membership options are available.

Standing Acrobatics - Adults

Recreational Programs

Each Standing Acrobatics Class will involve skills you can achieve during that class, as well as progress toward more challenging longer term goals. It is not essential to bring a partner along, participants will be partnered off throughout different exercises. Esther and Donovan have been doing standing acrobatics together for 4 years and are passionate about making standing acrobatics fun, safe, and accessible. Casual and Membership options are available.

Handstands - Adults

Recreational Programs

Participate in classes on the fundamentals of handstands, for beginners and intermediates. We will cover: ⭐ Safety - warm ups, spotting, communication, expectations ⭐ Entries - how to get in a handstand ⭐ Form - how to be in a handstand ⭐ Balance - how to stay in a handstand ⭐ Isolations/shapes - to keep having fun in your handstands ⭐ Conditioning - building enough strength to make entries, form, and balance achievable for you. Each class will involve skills you can achieve during that class, as well as progress toward more challenging longer term goals. Esther and Donovan have been doing standing acrobatics together for 4 years and are passionate about making handstands fun, safe, and accessible.

Acrobatics - 5-17yo - Term 2 [April-June 2019]

Recreational Programs

Acrobatics for kids aged 5+. Learn basic tumbling and gymnastics skills. Test your balance building group pyramids. Strengthen your body and challenge yourself. Put all off this together to form an acrobatics routine at the end of term. Train with a certified Gymnastics Australia Coach in a small class environment for personalised coaching and guidance on quality form, keeping growing bodies safe.
