Al Firstenberg

I am a trained dancer with a BA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College. I have been teaching Flying Trapeze for the past 3 years at Espana-Streb Trapeze Academy, Fly School Circus Arts, Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, and Trapeze School New York (TSNY).  I am an experienced catcher and confidently pull lines on large and small rigs as one of the youngest Lead Instructors at the TSNY Washington, DC rig. I throw back-end tricks, half turns, and layouts out of lines to catchers.

I am skilled in managing staff and maintaining order in a class with up to 30 people.  I have been working in client communication activities and programs for the past 6 years and have been advancing into more advanced positions with each new job. I am a skilled communicator and facilitator with and between all people, respectively.
