Description:Since 1994, De Es has organized its school circus ESTROPOV . Students who are interested can take circus lessons after school hours to master various circus techniques. Under the guidance of certified circus instructors, they practice in three levels (7th grade, 8th grade, and upper secondary). The seventh and eighth graders learn several basic techniques, after which they choose a specialty in the advanced group. Throughout the year, individual instructors are invited to this last group, ensuring that all specialties are covered.Estropov is supported by a support group consisting of parents and teachers from De Es. Together, we work towards an annual performance, preceded by an immersion week at the location. During this week, we work intensively on the performance. For the 2025-26 academic year, we are looking for circus instructors to join our team. They will teach seventh and eighth grades (ages 12-14), right after school on Thursdays and Fridays (3:10 PM - 5:10 PM). Profile Circus pedagogue for middle school (1st year of secondary school) Someone who knows how to stimulate creative avenues Someone who can nurture group dynamics with a lot of attention to Collaboration between students Physical and mental safety Please have a basic knowledge of: juggling with balls & diabolo, possibly flowerstick balance on ball, ton rola bolla, possibly unicycle aerial technique: trapeze ground technology: playful construction and dismantling of pyramids / trampolines Preferably also available during the week of June 1 to 7, 2026 We offer Compensation is provided via a volunteer allowance of €30/hour, so €60 per lesson.
