Club Med CREACTIVE by Cirque du Soleil is looking for Gentils Circassiens (GC), instructors and performing circus artists specialized in flying trapeze to share their passion for circus and the performing arts.
Location: Club Med Opio en Provence, France and/or Club Med Punta Cana resort, Dominican Republic depending on current needs.
Club Med CREACTIVE by Cirque du Soleil:
A playground like no other, CREACTIVE features recreational circus acrobatic and artistic activities ranging from high bungee, flying trapeze, aerial silk, tightrope and trampoline to mask design, juggling, percussion, dance and much more!
Gentil Circassien (GC):
GCs coach and accompany vacationers on their CREACTIVE journey as they develop new abilities, progress and achieve things they once only dreamed of.
Contract duration: Seasonal contract (6 months), with possibility of renewal.
Availability: Candidates must be available starting May 1st, 2020.
Profile:
-Male or female
-Aged 18 years and up
-Ability to teach circus disciplines in a recreational setting
-Outgoing, good communicator and sociable
-Ability to perform a flying trapeze act (intermediate level or higher).
Requirements:
-One to two years of experience teaching/coaching various circus disciplines (acrobatic or artistic) in a recreational setting
-Varied stage experience (basic level)
-Interested in working with participants of all ages, levels and nationalities
-Intermediate level in English
-Very good physical condition
-Proactive and good team player
-Knowledge of and/or experience in basic circus/acrobatic rigging
-Knowledge of another language and rigging certification will be considered valuable assets.
