An exciting opportunity is available for an emerging choreographer to develop and premiere a new work with a contemporary ballet company. This inaugural commission, part of the 2027 Spring Season in New York City, invites choreographers who view ballet as an evolving art form to collaborate with the company's dancers. The organization is deeply committed to intentional collaboration, conceptual contemporary ballet, and an artist-centered creative process. The selected choreographer will receive:
* A $1,200 stipend.
* Dedicated weekly rehearsal time with company dancers from January through April 2027.
