An electrifying and interactive musical production, drawing inspiration from the golden age of rock and the spirit of Broadway's 'Rock of Ages,' is actively seeking dynamic performers. This high-energy show immerses audiences in the vibrant classic rock scene of the late 60s, 70s, and 80s, set against a lively Sunset Strip backdrop. Featuring a live band, spontaneous audience engagement, and a healthy dose of comedy and rock 'n' roll swagger, the production is casting for authentic rock vocalists and versatile singer-guitarists. Ideal candidates will embody the vocal prowess of legends such as Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, and Heart. Essential skills include robust improvisational acting, sharp comedic timing, and the ability to connect organically with an audience using a flexible script. A background in old-school hip-hop/rap and fundamental percussion abilities are advantageous. Singer-guitarists must demonstrate proficiency on both acoustic and electric guitars, ideally with prior band experience, and be capable of delivering strong vocals and harmonies while performing.
