Applications required from highly motivated, highly skilled Circus Artists with strong movement skills and eagar to collaborate with like minded performers.

Artists Required

1 x Male CHINESE POLE ARTIST/ ACROBAT/
(& Chinese Rings is an advantage)

1 X HAND TO HAND (H2H) Male presenting Duo
(Flyer - Acrobat & Handstand, Base - Acrobat & Secondary Skill)

1 X Mixed Duo H2H ADAGIO ACT
(Male - juggling or cyr wheel, Female - Straps or Trapeze)

3 x Female Aerialists:

AERIALIST 1 - Straps & Aerial Net

AERIALIST 2 - Hoop

AERIALIST 3 - Multiskilled Aerialist, with Straps

Additional Skills
Male Roles: Juggling, Acrobatics, Cyr wheel, Banquine, Chinese or Dance Pole for understudy. Female Roles: Hoop/ lyra, Trapeze, Straps, Aerial Net, Contortion, Handstand spin table, Handstand on Canes, Lollipop.

You will join our Ensemble Company, on board our newest ship, MSC WORLD AMERICA, in :
- 1 x Exciting Circus Arts Production Show; up to three times nightly, twice a week.
- A schedule of Immersive Choreographed Activations of specifically choreographed circus routines performed around the ship.
- Performances run in repertory, and while the venues are a seven-day operation, you will have 1 day off per 7 days.
- Activations will be planned, rehearsed and scheduled across the whole performing company.

Rehearsals take place in South West France at our centre www.centredecreation.com.

Requirements:

Medical and Document Requirements
All Artists must meet specific safety, medical and vaccination requirements. 

A colour copy of passport - Passport valid at least 6 months after end of contract.
STCW’s & Seaman’s Book may be required. (Basic Safety Training, Security Awareness and Crowd & Crisis Management)
Schengen visa/ETIAS (if applicable) to come to rehearsals/ board ship in Europe.
MSC Medical Form duly fulfilled (ENG1/PEME)*
Record of vaccinations**
US Visa - C1D if required.

**Record Of Vaccinations:
must include the following childhood-contagious illnesses:
MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) – universal 3-in-1 vaccine (2 doses required or prove immunity)
Varicella (Chicken Pox) – universal (2 doses required or prove immunity)
Yellow Fever, vaccine or proof of immunity.
Covid Vaccine will be required.

Any required VISAS will be reimbursed by the ship owner according to their policies. Reimbursements are made once installation on the ship is complete.

Additional Information:

Onboard
All cabins are double occupancy sharing with another cast member of the same sex or as a couple.

The home port is Miami, from where it sails to ports in the Americas and Caribbean..
MSC offers discounts for Friends & Family visits. The home port is Miami and you would visit MSC’s private island.
Additionally a Physio visits the ship on certain port days.

Costumes are supplied. Performers should provide their own makeup supplies, brushes and cleaning products

Onboard responsibilities
All Crew Members are required to attend crew drills, induction and training sessions as mandated by Ship Management. (occasionally this falls on a scheduled ‘day off’)
