Description:

An esteemed professional ballet company is preparing for its highly anticipated 2026-27 season, promising a captivating array of full-length classical productions and its largest ensemble of dancers to date. Under the artistic direction of Jonathan Tabbert and Stephen Gabriel, the upcoming season, themed 'Three Worlds. One Stage,' invites audiences to immerse themselves in iconic literary narratives brought to life through dynamic storytelling, opulent costuming, and intricate choreography. The season kicks off with the chilling stage adaptation of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula,' closely following the classic novel to explore the gothic romance and horror of the count and his brides. This production promises a journey through moonlit graveyards and dark forests with ill-fated sisters Mina and Lucy. Following this, the company presents its signature holiday favorite, 'Charleston’s Nutcracker,' an annually sold-out spectacle. The season culminates with the classical jewel, 'Cinderella,' a magical production featuring enchanting wildlife, an otherworldly Fairy Godmother, vibrant ballroom sequences, and a timeless romance. Artistic Director Jonathan Tabbert expressed his enthusiasm for bringing these ballets to the stage, noting that the season comprises not only audience favorites but also three of his personal top selections from the company’s repertoire. He highlighted the unique storytelling and choreographic voice of each production, as well as the remarkable volume and scope of characters involved. This company is dedicated to upholding its legacy of groundbreaking choreography and bold narrative artistry, welcoming both new and returning audiences to experience professional dance year-round.
