Technical Production Manager – West Midlands, UK

This company is seeking an experienced technical production manager to manage the smooth and efficient technical delivery of an extensive creative programme, performances and tours. The technical production manager will play a leading role delivering the artistic programme including production, touring and compliance, working closely with both the artistic and associate directors as well as the programme producer and executive director. Adaptable and calm under pressure, the ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach, confidently managing all aspects of the company’s touring activity, ensuring excellent standards are maintained, and overseeing the technical operation of our creation space.

Production Manager / Technical Director – Ambler, Pennsylvania, USA

Lead onsite construction of all theatrical sets for a six-show season, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution. Assist in the selection of Scenic, Lighting, Props, Costume, and Sound designers. Coordinate designer outreach and provide oversight to ensure designs align with artistic goals, schedules, and budgets. Maintain all production workspaces, including loft areas, tools, equipment, and production supplies. Facilitate strikes following each production, ensuring safe, organized teardown and storage. Coordinate weekly dry cleaning and costume maintenance during performance weeks. Support technical rehearsals, performances, and production transitions as needed.

Technical Director – Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

This company is looking for a Technical Director to join the team in Las Vegas. The Technical Director is responsible for upholding the look, feel and vibe of the day-to-day operations and building needs of the production. As Technical Director you will coordinate with the Production Manager, Senior Production Stage Manager, and Resident Director on all production activities and operations, and adjust daily and weekly schedules as needed. In addition, the Technical Director will be responsible for scheduling and managing the union crew. This position reports to the Production Manager and the salary is $88,400/year.

Production Technical Director – New London, Connecticut, USA

This Arts Center in New London, is seeking a dynamic Production/Technical Director to lead the seamless technical and operational execution of all performances and events in an historic restored 1400-seat movie palace and live performance hall, and ancillary spaces. This full-time role requires ensuring efficiency, timeliness, budget adherence, and high-quality standards across all productions, stage operations, and technical services for shows, rentals, community collaborations, and in-house events.

Technical Director – Dennis, Massachusetts, USA

The Technical Director will be responsible for the following:
– Collaborating with creative teams for the mainstage productions to determine scenic designs that are within the capabilities of the production team.
– Determine, draft, and plan the execution of any and all scenic elements for all mainstage production, concerts, and galas.
– Execute the build of any and all scenic elements for all mainstage productions, concerts, and galas- including the maintenance of the shop tools/materials and the creation of any and all shop/changeover schedules.
– Collaborate with Production Manager and other department heads on all changeover schedules to ensure proper strike and load-in of all scenery pieces in a timely and efficient manner.
– Supervise shop staff and lead them through the build of all scenery pieces, including collaboration with the Scenic Charge on painting plans and scheduling.
– Foster a supported learning environment for young professionals and apprentices within the shop and throughout the production team, being willing to teach as you go and lead occasional apprentice classes or lectures if applicable.
