She recently partnered with the White House Office of Public Engagement at the White House, to conduct the first of its kind Circus Arts Industry Listening Session hosted by the Department of Labor. The White House Listening Session focused on Labor/Circus Workers Rights, Circus Arts Recognition by the National Endowment For the Arts with a defined individual category, as well as Health & Safety. Shenea’s continued goal, as the Circus Arts Guild of America, is to achieve Circus Arts Industry policy and legislation signed into law on Federal and State levels across the U.S. You can support the Circus Arts Guild of America’s Change.org petition for Circus Arts Recognition in the U.S, by going to Change.org/CircusArtsRecognition and signing plus sharing the petition.
