Artistic Director, Andrew Keates comments, To sit opposite such titans of the performing arts each month is one of the great privileges of my life. From Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Stephen Fry to Jack Holden, Pearl Mackie, Marina Sirtis and now Kerry Ellis, these are performers who have left indelible marks on audiences all around the world. What I value most is when these conversations move beyond tried and tested anecdotes and into honest, vulnerable accounts of life in the performing arts, including the struggles, sacrifices and lessons learned along the way.
It will be a huge privilege to welcome Kerry Ellis to The Show People Podcast. I know she wants to share some things she has not spoken about publicly before, and I cannot wait to hear more about her remarkable life and career, which has so often defied gravity.
