Edinburgh Fringe Hit 16 Postcodes Returns to London

Following a critically-acclaimed, sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe last summer and a stellar set of performances at London’s Pleasance Theatre, 16 Postcodes is coming to the Museum of Comedy for two exclusive shows this June and July.

Described by Lyn Gardner as a born storyteller, Jessica Regan (The Guilty Feminist, BBC, Channel 4) shares personal stories from her two decades living in London, offering a candid and funny look at what it means to build a life in a city that is constantly changing. Told with warmth, wit and openness, 16 Postcodes invites audiences to reflect on their own definitions of home and how the places we live shape who we become.

Twenty years, 16 postcodes, one city. In 2018, Jessica Regan added up all the places she had lived in London and realised it was 16. During the pandemic, stuck in the city and feeling disillusioned, she began walking her neighbourhood and thinking back on each home: the council flat, the west London period conversion, friends’ sofa beds, the green of Greenwich and the grey of Acton. Each postcode represented a different chapter—some marked by struggle, others by adventure or unexpected joy. 16 Postcodes is a storytelling show built from these experiences, a reflection on home, identity, and the city that shaped them.

Jessica Regan is an Irish actor known for her starring roles in Ill Behaviour (BBC/Showtime), Doctors (BBC), as well as appearing in a host of other shows including, Call the Midwife and Peep Show. She appears regularly on hit podcast The Guilty Feminist and has performed on major stages such as the National Theatre, Regency Park, West End theatres and Bristol Old Vic, as well as internationally at BAM in New York and The Wallis Annenberg in LA. Also known as a prolific voice artist, with roles in major games such as Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Baldur’s Gate 3, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and has narrated numerous audiobooks, including Strange Sally Diamond by Liz Nugent, one of Audible’s top audiobooks of the year. Jessica is also regular contributor for hit podcast The Guilty Feminist.
