Circus Voices, a podcast brought to you by CircusTalk, is pleased to present an interview with Charles Batson on Audio Explorations with the Editor.

Our guest on the podcast today is Dr. Charles Batson. Batson is a Professor of French and Francophone Studies and current past President of the American Council for Québec Studies and also the Florence B. Sherwood Professor of History and Culture at Union College where he also co-chairs the LGBTQ+ Affairs committee. Among the circus people of Quebec and beyond, Batson is best known for his writing and of course co-directing the annual academic seminar titled Circus & its Others. Join us as we explore his work and mission and discover what insights the upcoming series Journeys Through Queer Circus with Charles Batson will offer to the circus world.
