StageLync Podcast Ep. 74: Bence Vági on Redefining the Language of Circus and Dance

In this episode of the StageLync Podcast, I speak with Bence Vági—founder and artistic director of Recirquel Company Budapest, and one of the most defining voices in contemporary performance. With a background in modern and classical dance, Bence is a director and choreographer whose work fuses circus, movement, and theatre into a visual language all his own. His innovative approach has redefined the magic of live performance for today’s audiences, establishing him as a leading figure in both Hungarian and international performing arts.

From intimate creations likeNon Solus to the vast, 6,500-square-meter immersive world ofWalk My World, Bence Vági’s work dissolves boundaries between art forms, inviting audiences to step inside living, breathing stories.

We talk about how Recirquel evolved from a dream into a global company, what it means to train artists as both dancers and acrobats, and why he believes the future of circus lies in authenticity, craft, and imagination.

This is a conversation about redefining form, building trust through collaboration, and daring to dream on an epic scale.
