Resa is an actor, dancer, singer based in New York City. Originally from Japan, she had a multi-cultural upbringing and is fluent in Japanese. Resa gained international attention when she opened for Team Tokyo at the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games bid in 2009 alongside the Prime Minister of Japan and the Governor of Tokyo. She competed in artistic gymnastics for 10 years and enjoys utilizing her advanced tumbling skills to her performances today. She has worked at professional theaters across the country including Studio Theatre, Flat Rock Playhouse, The Wick Theatre, and Alter Theater. Resa has a BFA in musical theatre from Rider University.
