  is a poetic journey between dream and reality to the small things that
  are all around us and that are, on closer inspection, capable of telling
  us whole stories. Things that we sometimes overlook and that only at
  second glance unfold their cosmos and their magic. By means of video
  projections, everyday objects and also human bodies or parts thereof,
  are being magnified and thus turned into playable scenarios. Six dancers
  and acrobats, accompanied by a seven-member orchestra under the
  direction of Mark Chaet, sharpen our eyes and ears for a journey of
  discovery that has as its starting point a quote by Giacomo Leopardi: 
  
  
  
  “Children find everything in nothing;  adults find nothing in everything.”
  
  
  I
  look inside my little fish tank and see a shark dancing with a woman, I
  open a drawer and the scissors are marching. My books on the shelf turn
  into skyscrapers and my mobile phone is one of the windows. A pencil
  stroke is a street, two strokes the railway tracks, and my old sewing
  machine is the locomotive. My microcosm at home has two lives: one for
  which it has been created, the other one what I take it to be. It all
  fits in my suitcase and I am on my way. 12 musicians, performers,
  dancers and a singer show us the Little World at large.  [less]
