UP Festival

From 19th to 29th March 2026, UP Festival will be taking Brussels by storm with an unruly, vibrant circus with a clear contemporary focus. Belgian and international performers bring a much-needed message to life through virtuoso performances in big tops, theatres, public spaces and unexpected venues throughout the city.

International Circus Biennial
This 19th edition brings together 26 shows, 71 performances and companies from Belgium, France, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria and Spain, spread across 12 venues in Brussels. Combining physical prowess, unique writing and hybrid forms, the programme explores bodies in motion, contemporary narratives and sensory experiences, as close as possible to reality.

Based in Molenbeek, on the former Delhaize site taken over by UP – Circus & Performing Arts, the festival transforms the city into an open-air stage, from the big top to public spaces.
