Women's Circus

Women’s Circus is a feminist not for profit arts organisation offering a year round circus and performance training program and producing socially engaged arts projects for women and their communities. We work with individuals and communities and foster collaborations between community participants and professional artists. Our training and creative programs celebrate the physical and imaginative potential of the human body and nurture self-awareness and self-esteem.

Women’s Circus is proud to be part of Arts West, a unique alliance of arts organization’s who reflect the exciting, vibrant and diverse arts and culture thriving in Melbourne’s inner West. Women’s Circus is also a proud member of the Arts Wellbeing Collective, a consortium of Victorian arts and cultural organisations whose shared vision is to effect better mental health and wellbeing for Victorian performing arts workers. Women’s Circus receives ongoing operational support from Creative Victoria and Maribyrnong City Council.
