Tina is a Circus Consultant, Director, Apparatus Inventor, Lecturer and Mentor, providing her expert skills to organisations and individual artists worldwide.
You’ll probably best know her as Artistic Director of Ockham’s Razor, one of the UK's leading contemporary circus companies and Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisations she co-led for 16 years. Originally from a Fine Art background, Tina has played a key role in the innovative new equipment design the company has become famous for.
As well as directing, devising, designing and performing work for Ockham’s Razor, Tina has worked with La Fura dels Baus, Wildwux, Improbable, Amici Dance Theatre, Oily Cart, National Centre For Circus Arts, Theatre Rites, Burberry, English National Opera, L.A. Opera and Metropolitan Opera New York.
She has been a regular guest lecturer on the BA at the National Centre for Circus Arts, London/U.K. and the MA in Directing Circus at Circomedia, Centre for Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre, Bristol/UK.
Since spring 2023 she is Professor of Circus and Head of programme of the Masters in Contemporary Circus Arts at Stockholm University of the Arts (formerly DOCH).
