Stephan Choiniere

•Started gymnastics at the age of ten and became an elite NCAA gymnast at Temple University (USA), on scholarship.

•Trained in a variety of dance disciplines in order to fuse more sophisticated choreography with acrobatics.

•Conceived and performed (3 years) for Cirque du Soleil the featured duo “Body2Body” at the inception of the show, Zumanity.

•Created and performed “Body2Body 2.0” as on-call backup act for Zumanity, the final two years of the show.

•Still performing variations of “Body2Body” as a free-contractor.

•Performing solo act with a mini Cyr wheel... The Spinning Ring.

•Performing solo projection-mapped act, The Story Box, created by @lightpilled

•Leading groups of circus artists for tableau images in photographic projects.

•Teaching workshops for partnering, physical theater and act-making in the Nouveau-Cirque genre.

•Collaborating as the subject for fine-art photographers, and as a favorite model for the world-renowned sculptor, Richard MacDonald.

•Earned Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (painting & drawing) on scholarship at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia (USA).
