Sophie Duncan is a multi skilled, award winning performer, host, creative director and choreographer working in cabaret, circus, theatre, radio and special events. Specialising in Aerial Pole and Pole Dance, her professional training in dance and acting brings a lot to her creation style and has made her the multi-faceted artist and creator she is now.
As a performer, she's had the pleasure of working with Cirque Du Soleil, Franco Dragone, MGM Entertainment and The Roundhouse as a dancer, soloist, aerialist and in lead character roles. Since 2018 she has specialised in pole dance and aerial pole, winning 7 titles and performing as a lead character in Cirque Du Soleil's Excentricks:

Since 2011, she has balanced her performance career with choreography and direction. He longest running relationship is with award wining Romanian director, Horia Suru. Together hey have created 7 productions in Romania and internationally (four are currently in repetory around the country), with their 2016 production Columbinus winning the award for Overall Best Show at the National Theatre Bucharest's Teen Theatre Festival. She has created choreography and assistant directed for Chloe Charody on her circus opera, Jingah!, (due to tour in late 2023), original Creation Director for the Windmill, Soho's relaunch cabaret in London, and was assistant director to the incredible Tamara Harvey on her first Pantomime, Beauty And The Beast at Theatr Clwyd, Wales. A more resent string to her bow is podcasting and radio. Originally starting to create podcasts in lockdown, interviewing performers around the world, she quickly moved onto DAB station Peak Radio, reaching up to 1 million listeners in the UK. She now hosts 2 weekly dance music shows on Force Radio and 365 Radio, and is the creator The Public Showering Podcast - which talks about the creation of pole dance. In January on 2022, she was the face of Theatre Art Life's EPIC 24h online conference, in which she was on air for an solid 24h - the entire duration of the event!
