Sophie is a performing artist & award winning choreographer from the Twin Cities, Minnesota.
Sophie began her circus career at Circus Juventas in 2015. She dedicated herself to becoming an elite performer in cyr wheel, flying silks, cord lisse, lyra, dance trapeze, straps, clowning and acrobatics.
Sophie then went on to study at the world renowned circus university, Ècole Superièurè des Arts du Cirque. Sophie coined “Musical Cyr Wheel” during her time in Europe, which is unique to her in the industry.
Sophie has over 20 years of dance training including; the Broadway Dance Center Training Program, STEPS on Broadway, and numerous professional companies in the Twin Cities. Sophie is also a seasoned musical theater performer, acoustic singer songwriter and actor for stage and film. Sophie has been recognized for her artistry and story telling and has received more than 15 national awards for stage presence, ballet technique, and choreography. Sophie also excels behind the camera & enjoys directing photoshoots and social media marketing projects.
In addition to Sophie’s artistic endeavors, she has bootstrapped 7 service providing businesses. At the pinnacle of becoming a serial entrepreneur, she founded “Online Entrepreneur Mastery”, an online course that helps aspiring entrepreneurs go full time online using social media in 90 days.
She is currently recruited for the Cirque Du Soleil “Next Gen” program at the Circus Juventas location in Saint Paul, MN. Here, she is developing a one woman show in her coined genre “Musical Cyr Wheel”.
Sophie is also the Marketing Director & Assistant for the Circus Juventas Professional Program. She teaches Cyr Wheel, Dance & Theater in the youth program at Circus Juventas.
