Sam Kellar-Long began his training at Circus Juventas in St. Paul, Minnesota, when he was four years old. As he grew up in the circus, he gained experience in a wide variety of aerial, acrobatic, and partner disciplines. He was an advanced performer in six productions with Circus Juventas, specializing in silks, duo trapeze, and ground acrobatics. After graduating high school, Sam continued his education at the San Diego Circus Center which he finished in 2022. In 2023, he was an Artist in Residence at the Madison Circus Space where he and his partner, Killian Sabourin, developed and performed Jenny—a two-person contemporary circus show. Sam now attends the National Circus School of Montreal where he will graduate in 2025. As he pursues a career in the circus arts, Sam aspires to balance artistry and innovation with the circus’s ultimate goal of entertainment. And, in his free time, Sam enjoys baking and singing in his local community choir.
