Rubén likes sports and acrobatics since his childhood. He practices Judo, Biketrial, Basketball, and Soccer until he was a teenager, and then, he discovers circus arts and juggling. Some time later he works as a juggler and comical actor for several Spanish’s theatre companies.
In 1999, he studies in the Rogelio Rivel’ Circus School in Barcelona developing his skills and discovering some new disciplines (acrobatics, trampoline, danse, etc…) After finishing his circus studies in Barcelone he works for two internationally known companies: “Yllana” (Spanish gestual theatre company) and “Mayumana” (percussion and movement company from Israel ) witch allows him to continue progressing in his musical, theatrical and comical knowledge.
He returns back to circus studying in the Montreal’s National Circus School where he specializes in clown and acrobatic bicycle.
After his degree in 2007, Rubén has work as a clown and bicycle acrobat in different international projects as “Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain” in
Paris, “Cirque Starlight” in Switzerland, or “Compagnie Max et Maurice” in France.
In 2011 he moves to France to study Cultural Mediation in the Jean Jaures University of Toulouse.
Furthermore, he has collaborated in several projects as a musician, composer, teacher or director. He also continues learning and taking classes to improve his skills in music.
He has been working for the several years in Heart Ibiza, a gastronomic experience produce by the Adría Brothers and Guy Laliberté.
Now he is working in the creation Max et Maurice show "De A à Zébre" and developing new projets with his own company.
