Roustabout School of Circus and Performing Arts

Roustabout School of Circus and Performing Arts is a performance driven school, catering to adult training and youth programming. Our mission is to build performers from the ground up. We do this by offering cross-training in circus arts, dance, acting, strength training, mobility work, and more. The school offers a number of performance opportunities, as well as programming that ends with a recital performance. 

Located in the Arts District in Denver, CO. Roustabout is committed to working with artists from all disciplines to create stories and productions that offer a wide variety of acts and themes. We are also committed to being as authentically ourselves and rage against the machine as much as a group of punk rock circus misfits can manage. 

This company started in late 2025 and will be officially open for business in February of 2026. We are looking for coaches that are looking for part-time and full-time work, from all disciplines, that are living in the Denver metro or be willing/planning to relocate to Denver.

Disciplines include, but are not limited to:

Silks, Corde lisse, Trapeze, Duo Trapeze, Straps, Fly Pole, Lyra, Hair Hang, Handstands, Hand balancing, Flexibility/Contortion, juggling, Chinese Pole, Cyr Wheel, Hula Hoops, Clowning, Miming, Magic, Dance (Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Modern, Tap), Burlesque, Chair, Heels, Comedy, Acting, and Singing. 

We are also building a small theatre inside the space to host events, 3rd party productions, and in-house productions. Hiring gig-based work for the following positions:

Light Board/Sound Board Op, Ticket Booth, Concessions, Rigging, Fire Safety, Costuming, Choreography, Stage Manger, Directors, Emcees, Etc...

This company was formed and is operated by Mark Radcliffe. Mark is originally from Fargo, ND. Trained as a dancer through college and joined his first circus company in 2015 in Minneapolis, MN. He has danced and performed his way through life over the last 20 years in theatre, circus, dance, and burlesque.
